Reading this site does not require an account and does not ask for your phone number. Basic visit data is logged for security and to see which pages are read. If you ask to be connected with a local company, the contact details you submit are shared with that company so it can reach you, and with nobody else.
What this site collects just from being read
Standard server and analytics logs: the page requested, an approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and referring page. This is used to keep the site running, to catch abuse, and to see which pages are actually read. Nothing on this site requires you to log in, and no page asks for a phone number in order to be read.
What happens if you ask to be connected with a company
If you choose to submit contact details through the quote form, that information - typically name, phone number, email and a description of the job - is shared with the company or companies matched to your request, so they can contact you. It may also be shared with the network that routes those enquiries between this site and local companies.
It is not sold to data brokers, and it is not used for purposes unrelated to fulfilling that specific request, such as unrelated marketing lists.
Cookies and similar technology
This site may use a small number of cookies for two purposes: remembering a display preference (such as light or dark theme) on your own device, and basic, aggregated analytics about which pages are visited. Neither is used to build an advertising profile of you across other sites.
How to have your information removed
Email the address on the contact page and ask for your information to be deleted. If you were connected to a company through this site, that company holds its own copy of what you sent it, and this site cannot delete data a third party already holds - you would need to contact that company directly.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
